What is recorded here
Situated on a slightly undulating landscape with a relict meandering S-N course of the Nanny River c. 50m to the E. From 2016 Noel Meehan has been recording cropmark enclosures in the Keenoge area on a drone-mounted camera, and he identified this feature in Deenes townland. This is a circular enclosure (int. diam. c. 50m) defined by one, or possibly two, fosse features, which are only visible E-S-W. There may be two conjoined features (diam. c. 5-10m) in the centre.
