Situated on top of Ahaun Hill. This is a shale stone with a rectangular cross-section (dims. 1-1.4m x 0.3m; H 1.95m) oriented NE-SW, with an irregular profile at NE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
