Nohoval Bridge

Triple-arch road bridge over River Blackwater, built c. 1810. Coursed rubble stone walls having render copings. Tooled stone voussoirs to segmental arches, with V-cutwaters, rendered to upstream.

This bridge is of solid rubble construction, with cut-stone voussoirs and render copings. It is a testament to the craftsmanship and engineering of its time. Repairs to the bridge illustrate its continuing importance.
