Situated on a low hillock surrounded by undulating grassland. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as small oval shaped enclosure annotated as a ‘fort’. Not indicated on revised 1911 ed. OS 25-inch map. No surface remains visible of levelled monument.
