Spanning the Inny River. Described in 1682 as a wooden bridge 'built lately by Robert Chawpen [Choppin] Esqr.', who was also reputedly involved in the construction of the bridge (LF023-113008-) at Abbeyshrule (Gillespie and Moran 1991, 209). No visible remains survive but the present bridge is probably built on its site. The latter bridge is a four-arched road bridge dating from c. 1775 (www.buildingsofireland.ie, Reg. 13402707, last accessed 26 March 2012).
