Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1840 with canted-bay windows flanking entrance. Pitched slate roof with cast-iron rainwater goods, terracotta ridge tiles, red brick chimneystacks, and timber bargeboards. Rendered walls with render quoins. Square-headed openings with cut limestone sills and one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Concrete sills to bay windows. Square-headed door opening with timber panelled door and overlight. Set back from street with rendered rubble stone walls having pedestrian entrance and vehicular entrance with rubble stone piers.

The form of this handsome, modest house is accentuated by the render quoins. The simple, symmetrical design is embellished by the canted-bay windows. The house retains its large-pane timber sliding sash windows, the manufacture of such having become possible with advances in glass technology. The house retains other interesting features such as the cast-iron rainwater goods and timber bargeboards.
