First identified in an unpublished archaeological LiDAR report (Davis, 2015) commissioned by Roscommon County Council as part of the Environmental Impact Assessment for the N5 Ballaghaderreen - Scramoge road development. Situated in improved pasture towards the top of a N-facing slope. This is a circular, grass-covered mound (diam. 25m N-S; 23m E-W; H 0.7m). It has no defining feature such as a fosse or outer bank.
