Mound in Cloghanarold, County Limerick, is a circular flat-topped burial ground set in pasture between the River Deel and a tributary stream. Cattle have poached its grass into a shallow dish, while an earthen bank holds back floodwater at its eastern base. The mound stands only 1.1m high but spans nearly 14m, large enough to suggest several generations laid people beneath it. Local tradition, not formal proof, gives it that purpose.

In pasture, on a narrow wedge of low-lying ground between the River Deel to the E and a tributary stream to the W. A circular flat-topped mound (H 1.1m; 13.9m N-S; 12.9m E-W) which is covered by grass that is heavily poached by cattle. Skirting the base of the mound at E is an earthen bank constructed to prevent the river flooding this area. According to the landowner the mound is known locally as a burial ground.
