In improved pasture, on a gentle S-facing slope. Remains of rectangular area (dims. 33m E-W; 22m N-S) defined by broad, flat-topped bank (overall Wth 7.15m; Wth at top 1.8m; int. H 0.95m; ext. H 1.7m) at N side and scarp (Wth c 3m; c. H 0.5m) along W-side. Monument has been levelled to E and S where there is a scarp levelled out over a larger area. Probable fosse (overall Wth 5.75m; basal Wth 0.9m; D 1.5m) to W and N defined on exterior by field boundary: Fosse does not continue to E or S beyond monument on these sides. Remains of fosse (basal Wth 1.5m; overall Wth 5.8m; D 0.1m) along S-side. Interior is level, uneven on surface and covered in nettles for the most part.
