What is recorded here

In fallow tillage. Oval area (dims. 22m E-W; 18m N-S) defined by remains of earthen bank (Wth at top 1.75m; total Wth 4.45m; int. H 0.18m; ext. H 1.3m) SE-NW and reduced to scarp (Wth 0.3m; H 0.2m) NW-SE. Fosse (basal Wth 2.4m; overall Wth 6.55m; D 0.9m) SE-NW, appears to have been re-cut as a drain and has been backfilled yet traceable (Wth 6m; D 0.2m) NW-SE. Interior is generally level and waterlogged. Field boundary respects monument SE-NW. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
