In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Roughly square area (30m E-W; 29m N-S) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.6m) with shallow external fosse. Bank low, well worn and broad based to S and W; incorporated into field boundary system to N and E. Interior under pasture and slopes gently down to S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
