Situated on a gentle N-facing slope. This is a raised, rectangular and grass-covered area (dims 47m NW-SE; 45m NE-SW) with upturned corners, defined by external flat-bottomed and overgrown moats (Wth 6-7m; int. D 1.2m; ext. D 0.8m). A leat from the S corner leads to a small pond. (Barry 1977, 222, WX 78)
