Detached five-bay four-storey water mill, c.1850, now roofless. Single-bay two-storey addition to north end and three-bay two-storey addition to rear. Roofless formely hipped roof. Snecked limestone walls with limestone eaves course. Square-headed openings with yellow brick surrounds. Remains of drying kiln to rear block. Mill race runs exterior of front wall.
This mill forms a group with the mill in Derrinsalllow across the Derrinasallow bridge in County Tipperary. With the mills, the bridge and the mill race, a group of industrial structures survives.
