Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1820, with lean-to outbuilding to east gable. Two-storey return and extension to rear. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Roughly-dressed stone walls with tooled limestone quoins. Brick surrounds to openings. Cast-iron water pump attached to rear return.

The form and scale of this house makes a positive contribution to the streetscape. Interesting colour variation is created by the rubble stone, yellow brick and purple slate. The cast-iron waterpump is an interesting feature of the building.
