What is recorded here

Near the top of a cliff, beneath a sod layer (D 0.1m). The cliff forms the western edge of a natural promontory, though the former estuary at the base of the cliff, in the Back Strand of Tramore Bay, has silted up and been reclaimed. There are three other middens (WA027-090----; WA027-091----; WA027-092----) in the cliff face (WA027-090---- and WA027-091----) being approximately 19m and 37m to the S respectively and WA027-092---- being c. 4m to the S. Kilmealeague medieval church (WA027-009001-) is c. 50m to the SE. A midden (L 0.45m; D 0.3m) which consists of a mainly cockle shells with some mussel and whelk shells, as well as stones.
