Overview
Once a steward's house, it now serves as private house. Built around 1863, Melrose on Ardagh is a detached two-storey steward's house with three bays. Melrose on Ardagh belongs to a surviving architectural group at Longford. Carved stonework, decorative bargeboards and a canted bay window survive.
