A watercolour by W. F. Wakeman, titled 'supposed Cromlech on Carrickgollogan' (R. I. A. Ms 12. T.12, No. 57) shows a large boulder propped in a sloping position on the side of Carrickgollogan hill. This site has not been precisely located.
