A possible megalithic structure in Ballyvoe townland is described by Westropp (1905, 357) as 'an arrangement of rocks, a few feet apart, with a space tapering eastward, suggests a dolmen, but may be natural' (see also Westropp 1907, 462). The location of this structure is unknown.
