What is recorded here

The Cliffs of Moher are a dramatic sea cliff formation in County Clare, composed primarily of sandstone and shale of Upper Carboniferous age, around 320 million years old. They were formed through sedimentation in an ancient tropical sea and subsequent uplift and erosion, and are notable for their scenic beauty and as a significant geological and ecological site in Ireland.
