Cliff

What is recorded here

Meagh Cich is a sea cliff located in the Na h-Eileanan Siar archipelago, composed primarily of Lewisian gneiss, some of the oldest rocks in the British Isles, dating back over 2.7 billion years. These rocks formed through high-grade metamorphism of ancient igneous and sedimentary rocks and are notable for their durability and role in the geological foundation of the Outer Hebrides.
