The Mausoleum in Killeroran has stone walls, a stone roof and a finely cut pointed doorway. The Kellys seem to have interpreted 'a small family monument' as 'something a wolf could spend three very disappointing afternoons blowing at.'
Freestanding limestone mausoleum to Kelly family, dated 1813, comprising rectangular structure with stone roof and walls and having pointed arched entrance on north side and inscribed date-stone.
This is a simple mausoleum dating from the early nineteenth century and is one os a small number of such structures in North Galway. Its doorway is of well wrought limestone.
