Man-made underground passage in Stradbally South

Within the site of a possible cashel (GA103-181----). Described by Redington (1912b, 175) as 'a much ruined Man-made underground passage (here called an “uan”) of the usual type. It is 13ft [3.9m] long and 4ft [1.2m] wide …. Beyond W. end the chamber contracts to the width of a passage, 2ft [0.6m] wide by 6ft 1.8m] long'. No visible surface trace survives.
