Scrollaghbeg holds a man-made underground passage hidden beneath the ringfort bank at Lisroe. A blocked opening on the inner face and a lintelled air-vent on the outer face suggest people dug through solid ground, then closed the entrance rather than abandon the work. The passage may have served as storage, shelter or a private way through the hill, while the vent kept breath able to reach whatever chamber lay below.

Lisroe/An Lios Rua: Situated on a gentle slope on the E side of Gleann na nGealt, univallate rath KE036-065---- contains traces of a hut site (KE036-065001-) and Man-made underground passage (KE036-065002-). A blocked-up opening in the inner face of the ringfort bank at N probably marks the entrance to a Man-made underground passage KE036-065002-. A dry stone-faced, lintelled air-vent leads to this from the outer face of the bank. A short distance NE of the ringfort are the foundations of a rectangular house measuring 12.3m ENE-WSW x 5.2m NNW-SSE internally. This is probably post-medieval in origin.
