Man-made underground passage in Park (upperthird By.)

Situated within an enclosure (WA002-023001-). Discovered in 1960 and recorded by A. B. Ó Riordáin (NMI file) as an oblong corbelled chamber (dims. 4.4m E-W; 2.6m N-S; original H c. 1.8m) with a blocked exit at W, and a creep at E leading to a second corbelled chamber (dims. 2.85m E-W; 2m N-S; max. H 1.45m) roofed with lintels. A creep at the E end of this chamber leads to a collapsed passage. The Man-made underground passage is now closed.
