Local tradition of a tunnel from the ringfort (TN010-030001) to a nearby castle (TN010-018). Field inspection in 1995 could find no surface indications of a Man-made underground passage. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
