Under a forgotten rath in Lomanagh, an underground passage waits for footsteps. Capt. D. B. O'Connell heard its story in the 1930s, but the exact entrance has slipped from human memory. The earth keeps its secret, unburdened by the need to be found.

In a rath (KE094-038----). In the 1930s Capt. D. B. O'Connell recorded the tradition of an underground chamber here (KAS). The precise location of this rath and Man-made underground passage is not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
