Kilgobban is an underground passage hidden inside a ringfort in County Cork. Bowman recorded it in 1934, but no surface trace remains visible today. The passage may have served as a shelter, storage space or ritual path for the people who lived in the fort. Its disappearance beneath the earth suggests it was buried, collapsed or deliberately sealed after human use ended.
In ringfort (CO032-036---). Bowman (1934, 18) noted that a 'Man-made underground passage was in this fort'. No visible surface trace.
