Glandine holds a buried tunnel beneath a low mound, waiting for someone brave enough to look inside. Workers digging for a house lifted a large flagstone, saw the dark passage below, and replaced the stone without entering. The abandoned ringfort stands nearby, suggesting the mound belongs to an old human hand rather than a random collapse.

A large flagstone was uncovered while clearing ground for construction of a house about 8 years ago. Beneath it was a tunnel (local information) which was immediately covered in without inspection. The site is marked by a low mound and lies c. 100m SW of a ringfort with Man-made underground passage (KE037-037----). The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
