Farranbrien East holds a buried passage beside its ringfort, remembered from the 1930s and later hidden again under soil. The rock-cut depression still marks where the entrance may have been, waiting for someone brave enough to dig beside ancient stones. Whatever lived beneath that hill, people chose to forget it rather than watch it.

In SW quadrant of ringfort (CO113-003---). According to local information a "passage" was found in 1930s and later backfilled. Rock-cut depression may indicate position.
