What is recorded here

Ten metres of forgotten road still lie buried in the D-shaped annexe beside the Galway ringfort. Local memory calls it the entrance into the fort, as if someone cut a private gate through the earth and waited for it to be forgotten. The stones have since filled the passage, but the hollow keeps its shape like a sentence interrupted.

In a D-shaped annexe adjoining a ringfort (GA046-044----). Just W of the quarry pit in the interior of the annexe is a stone-filled hollow (L 10m, Wth 3m) running N-S.
