No visible remains, only a closed throat where the earth swallows light. Animals were kept out, humans forgotten. The rath holds its breath, waiting for someone brave enough to listen for the difference between emptiness and life.

In a rath (KE109-007----). According to local information, the entrance to an underground passage was closed up many years ago to prevent access to it by animals. There are no visible remains of this possible Man-made underground passage. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
