What is recorded here

Two collapsed chambers and a long southern depression mark a man-made underground passage in Cooldurragha, Carbery West. Rough stone work still lines the eastern chamber, while rubble buries the northern one beyond examination. The wide depression above suggests eager people dug or fell through before the chambers closed, turning a hidden passage into a broken scar on the cashel.

In E half cashel (CO142-054001-). Two collapsed chambers, one leading N, the other E. N chamber filled with rubble; impossible to examine. E chamber partially filled in; constructed of rough stone work, now much collapsed. Leading to chambers from S is long depression (L 4m; Wth 2m), probably caused by "investigations" of Man-made underground passage.
