Man-made underground passage in Cathair Chearnaigh — Report the wrong picture

More than half the chamber had collapsed before the men reached it, yet they cut through rotten timber and loose stone until the passage opened into a narrow room where the ceiling still stood clear. They worked from both ends, passing tools and soil through the new gap while the old structure crouched above them. When the last block fell, the hidden shape emerged: three chambers joined by low crawlways, built inside the bank of the ringfort as if the earth itself had learned to breathe.
