Man-made underground passage in Castlewaller

Located on high ground in an upland area. A Man-made underground passage discovered by a local farmer in the early 1950s. The site was visited by National Museum staff (NMI file) who described the Man-made underground passage as an L-Plan lintelled roofed passage with drystone side walls (L 5m; H 0.7m approx.; Wth 0.5-0.8m) found approximately 0.3m below ground surface.
