Man-made underground passage in Boultry

According to local folklore there was an underground passage at this ringfort (OF045-001001-) (Schools Manuscript). No surface remains or any visible evidence of a Man-made underground passage inside this ringfort. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
