Situated on poorly drained marginal pasture land with good views in all directions. Slight rise of ground (H 0.1m; diam. c. 6m N-S) indicates located of spread of burnt material which was revelaed by the local landowner when ploughing the field several years ago. May be the site of a levelled fulacht fiadh.
