Ballymacmurragh holds a collapsed underground passage inside a ringfort, marked only by a slight depression east of the centre. People built that hidden space deliberately, perhaps for storage, escape or ritual, then forgot how deep their own hands had reached. The earth swallowed the entrance while the depression remained, waiting for someone to notice that flat ground can still hide a chamber.
