Roughly circular univallate rath KE044-119---- is situated on a slight SE facing slope about 225m E of the Owenascaul river. The interior is occupied by a series of cultivation ridges and there is a tradition of a Man-made underground passage KE044-119001- at the site. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 292.
