Ardnageeha ringfort in County Cork, Ireland, contains a man-made underground passage. Broker (1937, 51) recorded an 'underground chamber' in the ringfort, and depressions in the SE quadrant may indicate the chamber has collapsed. The passage may have served as a hiding place, storage room or ritual space for the people who lived there.
