What is recorded here

One chamber and one west-facing passage once stood inside the Annagloor ringfort, but a big central flag was removed, clay was poured into the hole, and the entrance vanished. Broker recorded the loss in 1937, yet the description still points to a made space beneath an old fort. The passage may have served the fort, hidden goods, or given the place a secret room for thought.

In centre of ringfort (CO038-06201-). Broker (1937, 43) recorded an 'underground chamber and passage, big flag in centre of fort removed, clay filled in hole; passage faced west...flags found foot underground'. No visible surface trace.
