What is recorded here

Derreen holds a rounded boulder twice as long as it is wide, resting on three stones in flat pasture beside the Owennagloor River. The size and shape suggest a chamber for the dead rather than a marker for the living. People may have walked past it in ordinary work, knowing that something finished and sacred lay beneath the grass.

In flat pasture, on S side of Owennagloor River basin. Rounded boulder (2.25m x 1.5m; 1.25m T) rests on three support stones.
