Six-arch limestone road bridge over River Blackwater, built c. 1820. Coursed rubble stone walls having cut sandstone copings. Round arches having peck-dressed stone voussoirs, with V-cutwaters of limestone ashlar to piers. Underside of one river arch has been concreted.

This attractive road bridge exhibits interesting tooling to the voussoirs and copings. One of a number of bridges spanning the Blackwater, it serves as a reminder of the engineering achievements and the quality of local craftsmanship.
