What is recorded here

In pasture, on NE-facing slope. Circular, slightly raised area (diam. c. 35m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.2m; ext. H 1.8m); external fosse (D 0.55m), except for short section to NE. Break (Wth 5m) in bank to NE. Interior heavily overgrown to S and W. According to Bowman (1934, 40), 'called Lios Thaidhg (Timothy's Fort)'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
