Lissernane

Situated on the NE-facing slope of a low natural rise in undulating countryside. Not named 'Lissernane' on the 1843 ed. OS 6-inch map. A large circular area (diam. 75m N-S) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 2.3m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.7m) with drystone wall-facing along its external face and a possible entrance gap (Wth 3m) at E. A possible nineteenth-century ornamental feature associated with the nearby ruins of a nineteenth-century house.
