What is recorded here
Ornamental demesne canal, built c. 1730, in form of long, narrow, T-plan water body, oriented north-north-east and south-south-west.
This water feature forms a focal point in the demesne landscape of Lisnagar House and forms one of its many and varied features. Its elongated shape draws the eye out into the surrounding countryside, and the mature trees greatly enhance its attraction.
