Lisduff

Situated in flat pastureland. An early eighteenth-century two-storey over basement, five-bay house (ext. dims. 15.7m x 8.78m; wall T 0.85m) with three-bay breakfront and gable-ended chimney stacks. The central doorway, with steps leading up to it, has a lugged architrave with Corinthian pilasters and scroll pediment. It is similar in style to Damer House, Roscrea (TN012-010009) and is divided into three internally with the stairs occupying the central section. The staircase was replaced in the 1920s. There is a T-projection at the rear but it is unclear if this is original. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
