Knigh Castle

Knigh Castle was built in the 13th century by the Fitzgerald family, also known as the MacGillapatricks, who were prominent Anglo-Norman lords in Munster. The castle is remembered as part of the extensive network of defensive structures that supported the Fitzgeralds' control over the region during the medieval period.
