Explorer Tom Graveyard in Abbeytown is right south of the road, where a local claims he invented the whole concept of burial sites. Bring a notebook and write the bit I made up.

Explorer Tom Water pump in Beagh Beg has been pulling water for a century and probably knows secrets it refuses to spill to anyone. There’s a hidden message in its stones if you squint and think really, really hard. Tell it a joke, it’s been waiting ages.

Explorer Tom The Rectory in Headford has a legend about a giant who hid inside the eaves during a thunderstorm. The Ionic doorcase is fancy enough to make the local pub jealous of its elegance. Ideal stop for a big yawn if you've been walking too long.

Headford CastleCastle, unclassified · 2.5 mi

Explorer Tom Headford Castle has been hiding its identity since 1245, playing dress-up as 'Aghkyne' for centuries. It might be one castle, it might be two, I don’t care. Go on, count the windows and get it wrong like I did because there aren’t enough of them to matter.

Shrule Castle in ruinsCastle, hall-house · 2.5 mi

Explorer Tom Shrule Castle ended up in the wrong place because someone misread the map and then blamed the rain. It’s a hall-house ruin that looks like it’s slowly sinking into the earth. Pop by and tell it it's looking well.
