What is recorded here

Kilkilvery in County Galway holds a ringfort, a simple earthen circle where people once lived, worked and watched the sky. The fort still stands as a quiet mark of human presence, its boundary drawn in soil rather than stone. It may have sheltered families, stored grain or marked a claim to land, though no name survives to confirm the purpose.
