Section of Cork-Waterford border (L c. 60m) immediately E of Tallow-Youghal link road (L36), consists of linear bank (H 1.1m; Wth 1.6m) stone faced in parts. Fosse (D 0.5m) survives on S side, with counterscarp bank (H 0.6m). Bank appears to continue on W side of road, but not possible to examine due to overgrowth. Boundary stone (CO056-008---) at E end. May be continuation of 'auld ditch' (CO055-054---) recorded by Bateman (1716-1717) c. 800m further W along county boundary.
